ANYWAYS: updates.
Z1000 sold. got my asking for it. She was a very pretty and fun bike, but ultimately, not what I wanted right now. So long sweet prince. Buyer is picking it up later.
Triumph is home! I have new signals for it, a fresh oil change (motu
l 300V baby) and a couple of stickers for it.
I got the VFR running too. She was grumpy as shit and was spitting fire after a long winter of sleep, but the restoration has begun on that bike. Have a clip of it spitting fire

Wat do you think of the Honda CB1000R? I love nakeds, but I also dont keep up with bikes like I used to and just discovered this is a thing and I want it with a burning desire in my pants.

We only got one at work and it sold in like 3 days.
neat looking bike, about time honda brought out a proper 1000cc naked again.
I dont think I would buy one myself, but i would certianly own one if given to me or found at a cheap price

I keep debating "proper fast bike" vs "fun bike". I used to ride a CBR1000RR Repsol and so I feel like Ive kind of been to the mountain top. Nothing will surpass that experience short of a Ducati Panigale. Which is actually a dream of mine. But I also just miss 2 wheels and would be beyond happy just to have a fun bike again.

A 959 has actually been on my radar. About 2 years ago I went to look at the new SuperSport, which I think looks amazing in pictures but somehow in person it just didn’t do it for me. But the 959 caught my eye. Around that time my wife and I had been talking about buying a house and she was really dragging her feet, so I came home with sales brochures for a 959 and said “look, since apparently we’re not getting a house, I think I’m gonna get myself a Ducati. ”
The next day she sent me about 30 links on Zillow of houses she wanted to go look at.
